Daniel Kramer

About the Artist

Daniel Kramer was an American photographer whose groundbreaking work documenting Bob Dylan from 1964–1965 produced some of the most iconic images in music history, including the cover of the landmark album Bringing It All Back Home.

Over a career spanning more than five decades, Kramer has captured intimate portraits of cultural luminaries, from musicians and artists to actors and writers. His work is held in permanent collections at major institutions worldwide.

His book Bob Dylan: A Year and a Day remains the definitive visual record of Dylan's transformative transition from acoustic folk to electric rock, a period that changed music forever.
